My first Rainmeter skin. Pretty simple but clean. Includes

- a clock with date
- weather with 4 day forecast
- 2 rss feeds
- a note field
- Access to your favourite 3 searches
- system monitor with quad core CPU usage display
- music player controls with album art display (optimized for Winamp but should mostly work with other players too)

If you want to use it, you will have to do a few modifications. All major settings are located in the file. I added some comments in there to help you. Probably the rss feeds will need the most work, as every feed tends to be a little different.

Let me know if you use it, like it or have problems.

Does iTunes work with the Music Player? If so, how do I connect iTunes to it?

Find the file in the singlepix folder. Find the line starting with MusicPlayer= and change "Winamp" to "iTunes". Then refresh the skin and it should work. If it doesn't, try updating Rainmeter and iTunes to the most recent version.

I love your minimalist design a lot - thank you for the awesome download. I´m trying to build my new desktop around your skin right now.
I´m new to rainmeter, so please pardon me if I´m asking something silly and/or impossible: Is there any way to display the weather icons in the weather skin horizontally (in one flat band instead of in a box)? I´ve tried going through the .ini file but nothing strikes me as page breaks or boxy shape... but I also couldn´t code if my life depended on it.

In Rainmeter you can display any object in any layout you want. They are not automagically arranged by any guides governed by page breaks or any such thing though. The objects are placed by giving X/Y coordinates.

In this case you have to change the coordinates of the main weather icons. The text will follow them, because it is positioned relative to the icons. Find the sections in the Weather.ini that are called like this: [MeterD1Icon], [MeterD2Icon] etc... They have X and Y coordinates you can change. These coordinates are relative to the top left corner of the weather skin.

You might also have to change the overall size of the skin and some other objects, depending on what you want. I recommend reading the basic Rainmeter tutorial at… to get a grasp of the syntax first, so you're not totally confused.

The tips were spot on and worked like a charm. Thanks for making this skin and then taking your time to be helpful on top of it. ;)

How do you change it to English?

Look at the top of (can be opened with any regular old text editor like NotePad). You have to comment out a few lines. It's explained there.

If you want English news feeds, you have to change the feed URLs (and possibly regular expressions) which are also located in

Thank you, also is there any way to get spotify to work with the music player?
MerlinTheRed Featured By Owner Sep 4, 2014  Hobbyist General Artist
Partially, apparently. Check out this page of the Rainmeter manual:…

You need to find the PlayerName variable and set it to Spotify. It looks like you will be able to control it, but the song progress, album cover and rating won't work.
