Noticed these lonely flowers and had to photograph them. Some of the first ones I saw this year.
Shot in RAW and edited in darktable (www.darktable.org/ ) with a rather nice result I think.
Darktable is a very promising open source RAW editor. It's quite powerful and better than RawTherapee in many regards. You can apply operations on masks, which RawTherapee can't, and you can apply operations only on certain regions of the image selected by properties such as brightness, hue etc., which I believe even Lightroom can't do. Sadly, some useful UI features are missing (like undo), which requires you to be extra careful sometimes. Also, it's only available for Linux, which is kind of inconvenient but understandable, given its good optimization (it's rather fast).
